Can I sign someone else up (e.g., my students, my child) for the virtual Information Sessions on their behalf?

No. Individuals need to sign themselves up for privacy reasons. Each person who signs up for the Information Sessions virtual event must agree to the Ontario Universities’ Information Sessions Privacy Statement and Participant Declaration as part of the registration process. You cannot agree to the terms in the declaration on someone else’s behalf.

Your contact information is linked to your OUEvents Pass. To receive tailored information from universities you are interested in, ask a university representative to scan your OUEvents Pass. Universities will instantly receive your contact information.

How will my OUEvents Pass registration information be used?

Universities that scan your OUEvents Pass will send you information about their university. Your information is kept private and is protected under the Ontario Universities’ In-person Events Privacy Statement and Participant Declaration and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). You can unsubscribe from communications from each university you scan with at any time.

I can’t find my event in the dropdown list when trying to register for my OUEvents Pass. What do I do?

Events are shown based on your location. This means you will only see events within the selected distance range (e.g., within 50 km). If you do not see the event you are looking for, try adjusting the location settings on your device or distance settings on the sign-up form. This should result in the event

No. Your OUEvents Pass can be scanned at all university booths and presentation rooms.

When signing up for my OUEvents Pass, I selected Saturday but I want to attend on Sunday instead. Do I need to change the date?

You do not need to update the date you plan to attend the OUF (e.g., Saturday instead of Sunday) on your OUEvents Pass if your schedule changes. Your OUEvents Pass works for both days of the OUF at all university booths and presentation rooms, regardless of which day you selected when you signed up.
