What is an OUEvents Pass?
Your Ontario Universities’ Events Pass (OUEvents Pass) is a personalized QR code that allows you to instantly share your contact information with the universities you are interested in. The OUEvents Pass is used at the OUF and Regional Fairs.
Take your OUEvents Pass to the OUF and/or Regional Fairs on your mobile device or print it out on paper. When you are at the event, ask a university representative to scan your OUEvents Pass. The university will follow up with personalized information about their university.
Why Sign Up for One?
Sign up for an OUEvents Pass to:
- Receive tailored information from each Ontario university you connect with.
- Get updates on applications, scholarships and financial aid, deadlines, programs of interest, and invitations to university open houses, information sessions and OUEvents.
How Do You Use It?
- Sign up online. (Registration will open in August.)
- Check your email for your personalized OUEvents Pass QR code. (The email will be sent from StriveScan.) If you opted to receive text messages, you will also receive your OUEvents Pass by text.
- Bring your OUEvents Pass to the event on your mobile device, as a paper printout or both. Tip: Save your OUEvents Pass as your lock screen for easy access.
Ask a university representative to scan your OUEvents Pass. This way, the university can contact you directly with personalized information about their university.
Your information is kept private and protected under the event-specific Privacy Statement, Participant Declaration and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). You can unsubscribe from communications at any time.
